“Anyone who needs to evaluate hardware performance should add Maxon Cinebench to their testing arsenal. The new GPU benchmark will, of course, work with Nvidia, AMD, and Apple GPUs. Furthermore, Maxon says that Cinebench 2024 will have improved platform compatibility, such as support for x86/64 architecture (Intel/AMD) on Windows and macOS, as well as Arm64 architecture for Apple silicon on macOS, and even Snapdragon compute in Windows. This means this single piece of software will become a powerful tool to measure both CPU and GPU performance when it comes to rendering. There’s also a bunch of performance improvements and even a newly improved user interface too. These updates will ensure the software can better utilise and rate modern computer hardware, and give a more accurate and constant result than before… although it was already pretty great at doing so if I say so myself. Of course, there are several other improvements included in the update. Maxon announced the Cinebench 2024 rendering benchmark this week, and the new Redshift rendering engine that will allow them to integrate GPU benchmarking. We here at eTeknix use it extensively in our reviews for processors, motherboards, memory and more! However, now they’re adding a GPU benchmarking tool thanks to their Redshift rendering engine! Maxon Cinebench 2024 Maxon is one of the leading names for PC benchmarking, with their Cinebench suite proving a prime choice for gauging system performance.
